Bluebeam Revu 21: Exporting & Importing User Settings

April 1, 2024 BIM Apps, Bluebeam / Revu, IT

The Preferences dialog box enables customization of Bluebeam Revu settings. This section briefly describes each setting, organized by the section of the preferences dialog box that contains it.

To open the Preferences dialog box:

  • Go to Revu >  Preferences or press CTRL+K.

Exporting and Importing Preferences

Settings may be exported to an XML file so that they can be imported to other workstations within an organization. To develop a standard set of preferences, first configure one workstation with the desired settings, then:

  1. On the configured workstation, go to Revu >  Preferences, or press CTRL+K. The Preferences dialog box appears.
  2. Click Export. The Save As dialog box appears. Navigate to a local or network drive and save the file.
  3. To import the settings on another machine, open the Preferences dialog box and click Import, then navigate to and select the exported file.
